The cookie banner that doesn't charge you per page.
Kindnod is a light consent banner with flat pricing, a one-click import from Cookiebot, and a scanner that writes your cookie declaration for you. Free for one domain.
Reads the public homepage and sitemap. Nothing is stored except the domain and the result.

Priced on the thing that costs money
Cookiebot bills by the number of subpages its scanner finds and moves you up a tier when your site grows. Kindnod charges a flat €9 per domain or €29 for all of them. Unlimited pages, always.
Switch without re-asking everyone
Kindnod reads the consent cookie Cookiebot already set and honours it, so returning visitors are not prompted again. Your tag manager triggers keep firing because Kindnod speaks Cookiebot's JavaScript API.
Installs itself, even by an AI agent
One script tag with no key. The site is created on first load and the owner claims it later by email. An npm package for React and Next.js, an MCP server, and llms.txt mean coding agents can add compliant consent without a human signing up first.
Lighter than the page it sits on
17 KB, no jQuery, no fonts, shadow DOM so it never fights your CSS. Consent Mode v2 defaults go out before any tag runs. Honours Global Privacy Control.
How the switch works
- 1Paste your URL
Kindnod finds your Cookiebot tag, your existing cookie declaration, and the trackers on your pages.
- 2Pick a look
Five presets or your own colours. Position, copy, and categories are all editable. Preview updates live.
- 3Swap one script tag
Replace the Cookiebot tag with the Kindnod tag. Everything that listened to Cookiebot keeps working.
- 4Verify
Kindnod checks your live site and confirms the banner is up. Then it scans weekly and emails you when a new cookie appears.

Questions people ask before switching
Is this legally enough?
Kindnod gives equal weight to Accept and Reject, blocks non-essential scripts until consent, records every decision with a timestamp, and renders a cookie declaration. That is what GDPR, PECR, and the ePrivacy guidance ask for. Kindnod is not a law firm; your privacy policy is still yours to write, and we link to it.
What about IAB TCF and Google-certified CMPs?
Only sites that run programmatic ads (AdSense, Ad Manager) in Europe need a TCF-registered CMP. Kindnod does not do TCF yet. If you sell ad inventory, stay on a certified CMP for now.
Will my Google Tag Manager setup break?
No. Kindnod sends Consent Mode v2 defaults and updates, pushes the same dataLayer events Cookiebot's template uses (cookie_consent_statistics and friends), and exposes window.Cookiebot with the same properties. Scripts marked type=text/plain with data-cookieconsent are released the same way.
Do returning visitors get asked again?
Not if you keep the carry-over setting on. Kindnod reads the CookieConsent cookie Cookiebot stored and adopts the same choices. Turn it off if your counsel prefers a fresh consent.
Where does the free plan's byline go?
A small 'Consent by Kindnod' link in the banner footer. Pro removes it.
Is the banner open source?
Yes, MIT. You can read every line that runs on your visitors' browsers. The hosted parts are the scanner, the consent log, geo-targeting, and the dashboard.
Stop paying per page.
Two minutes to a live banner. No card for the free plan.
